Becoming a Resilient Leader – Sherry Campbell

Sherry Campbell M.A. RSW is a professional speaker as well as owner and principal counsellor for the Sherry Campbell Counselling Group.  Prior to beginning her journey as a business owner, Sherry was with the Niagara Health System as a sexual abuse, trauma and domestic violence counsellor.

Sherry earned her Master’s Degree in Life Span Developmental Psychology and has extensive training and experience in trauma, marital, individual, group counselling as well as personal growth. Sherry also holds her certification in Critical Incident Stress Debriefing, providing immediate onsite assistance to organizations in need.

As registered Registered Social Service Worker (RSW), Sherry has continued her education through over 20 years of clinical experience.

As an experienced workshop presenter and conference speaker, Sherry has offered dynamic workshops for organizations such as;  Community Corporations, Community Non-Profit organizations, Canada Revenue Agency, Niagara Regional Police Services, Niagara Victim Services Ontario, Boards of Education across Ontario,  The United Chiefs and Council of Manitoulin Police Service and The Canadian Education and Research Institute for Counselling, to name a few.  Sherry’s motto is ‘For Every Problem There Is  A Solution’ and with this in mind she has specially designed and presented for support service workers in the area of grief and compassion exhaustion as well as held retreats for couples and individuals ready for a ‘change’.

Sherry’s hard work, innovation and determination to become a leader in Mental Wellness for individuals, families and corporations have not gone unnoticed. She has had the great honour of receiving recognition from various business organizations across the region, including 2013 Small Business of Excellence, 2012 Women in Business, Entrepreneur of the Year and 2011 Outstanding New Business, Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce.
